Picasso, Matisse Paintings and others worth millions were stolen from Netherlands Museum
Seven works of art were stolen from a museum in Kunsthal Rotterdam in an early morning heist. Alarm was set off but security arrived on scene too late to see the theives.

Two Valuable Artifacts Stolen From Montreal Museum
In a brazen daytime theft, two irreplaceable antiquities were stolen from the Montreal Museum of Fine Art. While the suspect was captured on camera, security was not notified that a theft was occuring.

$250,000 Rembrandt Stolen at California Hotel Exhibit
A Rembrandt drawing valued at $250,000 was stolen from an exhibit at the Ritz Carleton Hotel in Marina del Rey. Sometime during a 15 minute period when the curator was with another individual the thief snatched the 28 cm x 15 cm drawing.
$400,000 in Paintings Stolen from a Toronto Art Gallery
Eleven paintings were stolen from a Toronto art gallery including works by A.Y. Jackson, Frank Johnston, J.E.H. MacDonald, Frederick J. Varley and Alfred J. Casson, all of the Group of Seven. While a conventional alarm was tripped, it was too late by the time police responded; the thieves and the artwork were gone.

Eva Remington diamong ring stolen
A priceless 19th century Tiffany's 18 karat gold ring with a 1 carat diamond solitaire was stolen from a glass enclosure from the Remington Museum in Ogdensburg, New York. Employees say, the CCTV system did not cover that part of the museum.
